The Nexon IP addresses may have changed rendering your DNS cache outdated.

Solutions

Reset Winsock and DNS Cache

Try a Winsock reset and flush your DNS cache.

For Windows XP:

1. Press "Windows Key" + "R"
2. Type "cmd.exe" in the box and click "OK"
3. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
4. Then type "netsh winsock reset" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
5. Reboot your PC.

For Windows Vista / 7:

1. In the start menu search bar, type "cmd"
2. Right Click "cmd.exe" and select "Run as administrator"
3. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
4. Then type "netsh winsock reset" and press "Enter" on your keyboard
5. Reboot your PC.

Google Chrome Conflict

In rare cases where the above does not work, Google Chrome may run into issues with launching MapleStory through the browser. It is still unknown as to what could cause this or how to fix it.
